Reiki - Usage


Basic Philosophy of Reiki

Reiki is a form of therapy that simple hands-on, no-touch, and visualization techniques, with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in a person. This can be used for everything and anything that needs healing. That can be physical, mental, spiritual or emotional; past, present and the future. You can and should use your intuition for using Reiki.

With health issues, Reiki should be used in conjunction with professional medical treatment. Reiki helps all medical treatments and therapy

Reiki practitioners believe that everyone has the potential to access the universal life energy, but that over time most people's systems become blocked and the energy becomes weakened in them. A reiki practitioner is trained to be able to detect these blockage and practitioners will use their hands, thoughts, and own energy fields to improve the energy flow in a patient. Practitioners claim that it works on very subtle energy levels, or possibly works chakra system. The chakras are the system of seven energy centers along the middle of the body believed to be connected with the nervous and endocrine systems, as defined by yoga and Ayurvedic medicine. Reiki masters claim that healing energy can even be sent to a person from far away, although a practitioner needs advanced training to be able to send energy from afar.

 

Channeling (giving) Reiki

Channeling Reiki is the same as giving Reiki. When giving Reiki you become connected to source of it and you become a channel for this life force. It will flow through you and out from your palm.

Reiki Healers channel Reiki to themselves or others with their palms on the body or a few inches off.

 

Reiki Attunement

An attunement is a sacred process, initiation and or meditation with a specific purpose or intent. The main purpose and intent of the Reiki 1st level, 2nd Level and Master Attunement is to connect (attune) you to the source of Reiki so it can flow through you when you need to channel it.

A Healing Attunement or Psychic Attunement or any healing process do not enable the recipient to be come a Healer or having the ability to channel Reiki.
